Acting as a poster for both "Book Arts in Venice" and "The Italian Journey," the poster needed to fit an extroaordinary amount of text onto an 11" x 17" poster, a background image, and a smaller foreground image as well. The text was set on a curve and at angles to mimick the curvature of the canal and the photo while keeping the large paragraphs from being boring or unreadable.
